Born and raised in Jacksonville, NC, Michele is deeply rooted in the coastal community she proudly serves. Whatbegan in 2004 as a fl exible career that allowed her to be present for her two boys—Chandler, a UNC graduate,and Chase, a student at Appalachian State—has grown into a true calling shaped by nearly two decades of experienceand leadership.A true Jill-of-all-trades, Michele has worked across multiple facets of real estate, lending, and served on variouscommittees over the years advocating for homeowners & strengthening the future of North Carolina’s real estate.Her background includes roles as a real estate office manager, closing coordinator, licensed mortgage broker, REALTOR®, Broker-in-Charge, and owner.Michele’s diverse experience perfectly complements her business partner Jennifer’s extensive history in localbuilding—together forming a well-rounded, highly knowledgeable team committed to serving clients with integrityand expertise.Whether she’s helping families discover their ideal home or caring for the occasional stray cat that fi nds its way toher porch, Michele approaches life with heart, humor, and purpose. For twelve years, I have been the owner and hands-on manager of Horizons East Building Company in Jacksonville, NC which was voted the Number One Builder for the Jacksonville Official Community Choice Best of the Best Awards for 2018, 2020, and 2022. As a licensed Unlimited General Contractor, I started hands-on with site work, to building one house, to upper management, and now I am the owner of a successful company with a phenomenal team. As a developer, I enjoy creating custom and semi-custom dream homes for my clients from start to finish, yes, but I also aim to offer a smooth process from beginning to end.
